Unveiling the Science: X-Ray Microbial Treatment for Cannabis

We are redefining microbial treatment in the cannabis industry with our CX-1000 system, powered by advanced X-ray technology. Here’s why the CX-1000 is transforming the way cultivators approach safety and compliance:

How X-Ray Microbial Treatment Works

The CX-1000 uses similar, albeit more powerful, X-ray technology to medical imaging such as Radiography to detect bone fractures, as an example (simple 2D images), and Computed Axial Tomography (CAT scan), to effectively eliminate harmful microbes, including bacteria and fungi, while preserving the delicate cannabinoids and terpenes that define your product’s identity. X-rays destroy the bonds in the DNA chains in bacteria and fungi and hence they cannot replicate themselves.  Because THC and Terpenes are chemical and organic compounds that don’t contain DNA, the impact from X-rays is minimal.  Unlike other technologies such as ozone, hydrogen peroxide, chlorine dioxide, and others, that pose risks of operator safety, reactivity with metals, and degradation of cannabinoids and terpenes, our X-ray technology  ensures minimal impact on potency, aroma, and appearance.

Key Benefits

  • Higher Product Yields: Achieve superior microbial reduction, meeting regulatory requirements without sacrificing quality and potentially improved revenue.

  • Preserve Terpene and Cannabinoid Profiles: Our X-ray technology destroys mold and bacteria with minimal impact to the unique terpene and cannabinoid characteristics of your cannabis.

  • Non-Toxic and Residue-Free: No harmful chemicals or residuals—just clean, natural cannabis.

  • The CX-1000 is designed and manufactured to twice the FDA standards’ requirement for radiation safety for the protection of both the operator and the environment
